By Guest Columnist Wendy Sawyer

ZEBULON - The Pike County 4-H held the MilkMake contest on February 28 at the 4-H office. MilkMake is a 4-H Food and Nutrition Activity for Cloverleaf 4-H'ers. This fun and educational event is sponsored by the Southeast United Dairy Industry Association. The association provided three t-shirts for the top three winners, as well as bookmarks for every participant at the contest.

The 4-H'ers had to turn in a recipe for a milk/dairy drink than come to the office on February 28 and make their recipe for the three Judges. The 4-H'ers recipe was judged on nutrition, flavor and creativity. The following were winners: 1st place - Gabby Moss, 2nd place- Georgia Hanson, and 3rd place - Anna Rich. Thanks to our Senior 4-H'ers Briana Botsford, Ansley Carter and Danielle Cawthon for being our judges.
