Agenda subject to revision

All five commissioners attended with Interim County Clerk Jo Ann Wrye to take the minutes, County Manager (CM) Mike Phillips, and County Attorneys Rob and Tom Morton. This meeting lasted for an hour and was better attended than I thought it would be based on the 5 p.m. time of the meeting. Representatives from Mt. Olive Church and from Patriot Motors were in attendance as well a few members of the public and Planning and Development Director David Allen.

Many came in halfway through the meeting like they left work and hurried to the meeting so they could speak or hear what is going on with the Sign Ordinance. The meeting seemed rushed because of the time that it was scheduled and at least one person did not get the opportunity to speak. However, there will be two hearings coming up on this where everyone should have the opportunity to speak on the ordinance and any proposed changes or whether it will remain the same as it is now.

This meeting is a work in progress. Updates will go on the home page in blue as the meeting is finished up.
