ZEBULON - The Pike County Board of Commissioners held a Special Called Meeting on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 5 p.m. (today) in the Main Courtroom of The Pike County Courthouse. The meeting was open to the public was broadcast live on Pike County Times' Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/pikecountytimes.

Commissioners James Jenkins, Jason Proctor, Tim Daniel, and Chairman Briar Johnson were in attendance as well as County Clerk Angela Blount, and County Attorney Rob Morton.

5. EXECUTIVE SESSION

a. County Attorney Rob Morton requests an Executive Session for discussion or deliberation on the appointment, employment, compensation, hiring, disciplinary action or dismissal, or periodic evaluation or rating of a public officer or employee or interviewing applicants for the position of the executive head of an agency, as provided in O.C.G.A. § 50-14-3(b)(2), germane to personnel.
