BREAKING NEWS: Results from the May 24, 2022 Primary Election

ZEBULON - These are the results of the 2022 Primary Election in Pike County. The results are as follows:

The Board of Education District 1 race results are as follows:
Brian Hubbard (Incumbent) received 532 votes.
Michael Pierce received 318 votes.
Brian Hubbard is the winner of this race.

The State House of Representative District 135 race results are as follows:
Dan Brue received 609 votes.
Beth Camp (Incumbent) received 3,874 votes.
Beth Camp won the race here in Pike County.

The SPLOST (1 cent tax for education) was county wide.
2,871 voters cast yes votes.
2,111 voters cast no votes.
The SPLOST passed.

There are 14,048 registered voters in Pike County. 5,103 voters cast their votes. This is a 36.35% voter turnout.
