ZEBULON - The Pike County Retired Educators Association met with Lynn Cunningham from the Pike Historical Society last week and presented their 2023-2024 scrapbook for the archives. This tells about their activities for the past year and has newspaper articles, pictures, and activities that they have been involved in.

This scrapbook is stored with many others from past years and is available for viewing by the public during Historical Society operating hours.

PCREA also presents three scholarships to Pike County students each year who are majoring in the field of education.

Marsha Graves is the Corresponding Secretary and the one who actually makes the scrapbook. Charlotte Gibson is the co-secretary and takes the pictures in the scrapbook. President is Diane Beres.

Also present were Mike Beres, Barbara Messer, Judy Turpin, and Lynn Cunningham.
