Two Perpetrators in Custody for Entering Autos

GRIFFIN - on March 18, 2018, the Griffin Police Department Uniform Patrol Division responded to a call at approximately 11:00 pm of suspicious suspects in the zone 2 area. Officers made contact with two suspects on foot in the area of Tilney Ave. and S. 6th Street, while other officers in the area notice personal items scattered on the sidewalks and in the street. There were numerous automobiles that had been broke into in the immediate area. After an investigation, the two suspects were arrested and charged.

Cornelius Taylor Jr. (17 yrs) of Griffin, Ga. and Dwaine Holland (17 yrs) of Griffin, Ga. Are both being charged with numerous counts of Entering Auto. Items recovered in this case will be processed and/or returned to the rightful owners. Known victims of the incident were contacted by police during the initial investigation and were made aware.

Hill St., etc., PLEASE CONTACT GRIFFIN POLICE DEPARTMENT if you have been the victim of an entering auto last night. The Police Department will respond to your residence and process your vehicle.
