ZEBULON - Pike County is celebrating its 200th birthday with a lighted, nigt-time parade on Friday, December 9 and a Christmas Market around the Square on Saturday, December 10.

Parade Entries
The Pike County Chamber of Commerce is signing lighted floats, tractors, horses, and vehicles up for the 2022 Bicentennial Lighted Christmas Parade.
Please note: candy and confetti cannons are prohibited.
Since we’ve been celebrating Pike County’s Bicentennial all year, our parade theme is “Making History for 200 Years.”

Parade, float, and vendor applications are due on December 1. The line up and layout will be announced on December 6.
The parade will be held on Friday, December 9 at 7 p.m.
Grand Marshal of the Parade
The Pike County Chamber of Commerce is looking for someone special to be the Grand Marshal for the parade. To make a nomination, please write a short paragraph about this special person and email it to info@pikecountygachamber.com
The deadline for all Grand Marshal nominations is December 1 at 12 noon. The winner will be chosen by a committee and announced on December 6.
The parade will be held on Friday, December 9 at 7 p.m.
The Christmas Market and Bicentennial Christmas Craft Fair
The Christmas Market and Bicentennial Christmas Craft Fair will be held around the Courthouse Square in Zebulon on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Set up begins at 8 a.m.
Vendor Fee is $25.00 and is waived for non-profits and civic clubs.

Musical Acts for Christmas Celebration
In addition, they are looking for music project submissions for the Pike County Bicentennial birthday/holiday celebrations for Saturday, December 10th. The committee is looking for 45 min - 1 hour sets, flavored with holiday/patriotic music-through-time themes.
Submit space, sound, time, and compensation needs (if any) as well as theme description/demo to info@pikecountygachamber.com no later than noon on November 18, 2022.
