ZEBULON - Captain Jamie Strickland from the Pike County Sheriff’s Office confirmed today that April Brannon was arrested on February 27, 2012 and is currently in jail. She is charged with 7 counts stemming from theft and embezzlement of approximately $195,000 while she was an employee at First Bank of Pike.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called in to handle this investigation. Ms. Brannon was not employed by the bank at the time of her arrest. She had worked at the bank for approximately two years prior to her arrest.
