BREAKING NEWS: Final Arrests Made in Car Break In and Burglary Cases

ZEBULON - The two suspects that were wanted in connection to numerous car break ins are now under arrest. Jake Odom and Chase Brown were arrested at a residence in Thomaston late Saturday/early Sunday morning through the cooperation of Upson County Sheriff's Office and Thomaston Police Department.

All suspects in Pike County's breaking an entering into auto and burglary cases that were tied to these three individuals are now in custody. Benson Jones, 17 years of age, was taken in custody last week by Pike County deputies.

Major David Neal of the Pike County Sheriff's Office gave an update on this case. He advised that after conferring with the District Attorney's Office, the charges of theft by receiving stolen property have been upgraded to entering auto and burglary.

Chase Brown, 20 years of age, is being charged with 23 counts of entering auto and 3 burglaries. Jake Odom, 17 years of age, is being charged with 22 counts of entering auto and 2 burglaries. And Benson Jones, 17 years of age, is being charged with 21 counts of entering auto and 2 burglaries.

Major Neal advised that the Pike County Sheriff's Office has recovered numerous items, and that Investigators are contacting victims to identify stolen items.

The Pike County Sheriff's Office has issued a thank you to all fellow law enforcement agencies that assisted in capturing these two individuals.

BREAKING NEWS: Arrest Made in Car Break In Cases
Investigators Looking for Two More Suspects

ZEBULON - Pike County Sheriff's Investigators have arrested one individual and are looking for two additional suspects that are believed to be responsible for the recent rash of reported car break ins throughout the county. A search warrant was served on a residence in Meansville this afternoon during which numerous stolen items were recovered. These items included thirteen guns which had been stolen from vehicles.

Chase Brown and Jake Odom ran from Deputies upon their arrival. They are believed to have been able to obtain a ride from the area. Brown is also wanted in another county for entering auto.

Investigators will be obtaining numerous arrest warrants for Brown and Odom. Arrested at the residence was Benson Jones, 17 years of age, for theft by receiving stolen property. He is currently at the Pike County Jail.
