Harold Callaway Has Returned Home to Finish His Rehabilitation

NEWNAN - Harold Callaway has been undergoing intense rehabilitation since his accident on January 20, 2016 that involved his truck and two tractor trailers. (See article below for information about the wreck.) He has received care at Atlanta Medical Center, specialty care Southern Regional Hospital and Ansley Park Health and Rehabilitation in Newnan since that time so he could come back home.

It has been a lot of hard work for Harold, but his wife Andrea let me know the he finally got to come home last Saturday using a walker. Andrea told me that they went to outpatient therapy and he has started using a cane. She even told me that Harold should be using a cane exclusively in a few weeks!

Congratulations to Harold and Andrea both on Harold's homecoming, and the community is continuing to pray for Harold's full recovery!

Update on Harold Callaway

GRIFFIN - Zebulon resident Harold Callaway was injured in a wreck at the Hwy 19-41 light by Ingles in Griffin on January 20, 2016. Four vehicles were involved with six motorists but only Harold was transported for treatment.

Two of the vehicles involved in this accident were tractor trailers, and one of those tractor trailers struck Harold’s truck when he failed to stop at the light. Harold was trapped in his truck and had to be extracted from the vehicle by the Jaws of Life. Harold was transported to Atlanta Medical Center where he remains today.

Harold is scheduled for surgery on his neck and plastic surgery on his face on February 8, 2016. His wife Andrea is very thankful for community support and has asked for continued prayers for Harold.

Harold has been a part of the Moody-Daniel Funeral Home here in Zebulon and has helped people in their time of grief for the past 9 years.
