CONCORD - Members of the Boys & Girls Club of West Georgia - Pike Unit worked with parents and members of the community to clean up trash from along Concord Streets last weekend. This was part of their Big Help Project to celebrate Earth Day.
About 30 children and adults picked up trash from along Concord streets all of the way back to Highway 18. Boys and Girls Club Board Members even helped out in this project. Director Rufus Clemmons said that they plan to do it again even bigger next year.
28 bags of garbage at over 30 pounds each equals over 800 pounds of trash eliminated from Concord Streets. Congratulations on a job well done!
