Early Voting Has Begun in Democratic Runoff; Election Day Is Tuesday, June 21

ZEBULON - Early voting began in Zebulon on Monday and will continue 9 am. to 5 p.m. through Friday, June 17. Election Day is Tuesday, June 21. There will be no early voting on Monday, June 20.

Who Is Eligible to Vote?

Only those who did not vote in the primary, those who voted on the Democratic ticket, and those who voted non-partisan can vote in the Democratic Runoff.

Who Is on the Ballot?

Democratic Lt. Governor candidates Kwanza Hall and Charlie Bailey are on the ballot.

Democratic Secretary of State candidates Dee Dawkins-Haigler and Bee Nguyen are on the ballot.

Democratic Insurance Commissioner candidates Janice Laws Robinson and Raphael Baker are on the ballot.

Democratic Labor Commissioners candidates William Boddie and Nicole Horn are on the ballot.

The winner of these races will face the Republican candidates in the November election.


Early voters can cast their ballots in the Registrar’s Office located at 81 Jackson Street through Friday, June 17. There will be no early voting on Monday, June 20.

Voters can cast their ballots on Election Day, June 21, at their regular precincts.
