Run Off Results in the Pike County Races

ZEBULON - Thank you to WTGA Fun 101.1 for allowing Pike County Times.com to report the results of each precinct live on Thomaston radio tonight. There was a turnout of 11.27% in Pike County with 1,159 votes cast out of 10,285 registered voters in Pike County.

Final Results in the Chief Magistrate race are as follows: Marcia Callaway-Ingram won this race by 23 votes over Loretta Rakestraw. Incumbent Callaway-Ingram had 582 votes (51.01%) to Challenger Loretta Rakestraw's 559 (48.99%). There is one provisional ballot out in this race, but it will not affect the results here tonight. Update 8.22.12: The provisional vote was counted in Magistrate Court today changing the final total. Incumbent Callaway-Ingram had 582 votes (50.96%) to Challenger Loretta Rakestraw's 560 votes (49.04%).

In the Board of Education District 4 race, Jim Brooks won this race by 40 votes. Jim Brooks has a total of 153 votes (56.88%) to Connie Green's 113 votes (42.01%). There was a total of 3 write in votes on this race.
