Picture Fundraiser Helps Pike County Emergency Services

ZEBULON - Pike Volunteer Emergency Services Booster Organization (PVESBO) presented the City of Meansville and Pike County Emergency Services with MSA AltAir4X multi-gas leak detectors purchased with monies raised by this year's PVESBO-sponsored, citizen-supported picture fundraiser. City of Meansville Fire Chief Ron Snowden was presented with one detector. PCES Fire Chief Randy Snyder was presented with four detectors which will be assigned to county apparatus.

Chief Snyder stated, "These can't come at a better time as people use their heaters and fireplaces. Our calls for heating-related issues always go way up this time of year."
