Oh say, can you see, General Lee?
Ground Hog Day 2025

JACKSON - General Beauregard Lee, Georgia’s Official Weather Prognosticator, will make his prediction from his home located at 101 Whistlepig Way, Dauset Trails Nature Center, Jackson, GA, on Sunday, February 2, 2025.

The ceremony is open to the public and will start at 7:30 am.

Beau historically has a more accurate prediction record than his northern counterpart. Find out what Beau has to say this Groundhog Day on Sunday, February 2.

The main gate will be open by 6:00 am. Beau will make his prediction around 7:30 am.

Souvenir shirts will be sold. Food and drink will be available. We look forward to seeing you at the Trails.

Dauset Trails Nature Center is located at 360 Mt. Vernon Church Road in Jackson.
