ZEBULON - The Mid GA Hurricanes finished up their all-star season on March 29 at Georgia Tech’s McCamish Pavilion.
The Senior Level 3 squad, the Renegades, brought home a first place win and the title of Grand Champions. The Senior Level 2 squad, the Surge, finished their season with third place.
Each squad competed in a total of 5 competitions this season and brought home several second place and third place trophies and banners. The Renegades also won a bid to the Amazing Champions Competition that was held in Hollywood, California.
The gym offers a wide range of tumbling classes, as well as all-star cheerleading for all ages and skill levels, from beginners to the more advanced.
Mid GA Hurricanes, in conjunction with The Cheerleader Magazine, will be hosting a stunt camp on June 28 and 29. Three nationally known cheerleaders will be conducting the camp along with The Cheerleader Magazine staff, and will teach tumbling and stunting skills. This camp is open to everyone. Pre-registration is required and may be completed through The Cheerleader Magazine website or the gym.
Tryouts for the upcoming cheer season will be held on May 10, 2014 and will be held according to the child’s age. For further information contact April Byrd at 404-392-8456.
