ATLANTA - (November 12, 2023) The FBI, along with Bibb County Sheriff‘s Office Gang Unit and Richmond County Sheriff's Office, this morning apprehended 37-year-old Johnifer Dernard Barnwell. Barnwell was located at a home in the 3000 block of Alpine Drive in Augusta just after 8:00a.m Sunday morning. When Barnwell was captured, large amounts of drugs found in the house.
When agents and deputies arrested Barnwell, they found what they suspect to be Meth, fentanyl , heroine, marijuana, and cocaine in the house. These were in large quantities. Suspected is the key word until it's all officially tested in a lab.

ATLANTA - (November 3, 2023) Bibb County Sheriff‘s Office Criminal Intelligence Unit along with the assistance of The Bibb County Gang Unit, Georgia State Patrol SWAT and US Marshals apprehended 25-year-old Marc Kerry Anderson at the Huntley Apartments located at 1000 Park Dr., Atlanta, GA just before 3 PM this evening.

ATLANTA - (October 26, 2023) Bibb County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force that 29-year-old Chavis Demaryo Stokes was apprehended in a home in Montezuma at 2:00p.m.

MACON - FBI Atlanta is now offering rewards of up to $25,000 for information leading to the capture of four inmates who escaped from the Bibb County Jail earlier this week.
Combined with rewards from the Macon Regional Crime Stoppers, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshals Service, the total reward amount stands at $73,000.

The FBI is offering $10,000 for the capture of 37-year-old Johnifer Barnwell. He was convicted earlier this month on federal drug trafficking charges and faces a significant time in prison when sentenced.
The FBI is also offering up to $5,000 for the capture of the other three escapees. They include 52-year-old Joey Fournier who is charged with murder, 29-year-old Chavis Stokes who faces drug charges, and 25-year-old Marc K. Anderson who as jailed for Aggravated Assault.
The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $5,000 reward for each of the subjects. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is also offering $5,000 for the capture of each of the escaped inmates. Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 dollar reward for the capture of each of the men.
FBI Agents from the Macon Resident Agency have been working with law enforcement partners including the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and the U. S. Marshals Service to track down the four missing inmates.

MACON - Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for public's assistance in finding four inmates that escaped from the Bibb County Detention Center. The inmates fled from the Detention Center through a damaged day room window and a cut fence after a blue Dodge Challenger pulled up to the location and helped the inmates flee at 3:00 a.m. Monday morning.
The inmates are 52-year-old Joey Fournier. He is a white male with gray hair, blue eyes, five-feet and nine inches tall, and weighs 140 pounds. He was being held in the Bibb County Detention Center for murder.
The second inmate is 24-year-old Marc Kerry Anderson. He is a black male with dreads, five feet and nine inches tall, and weighs 165 pounds. He was being held for Aggravated Assault.
The third inmate is 37-year-old Johnifer Dernard Barnwell. He is a black male with braids, five feet nine inches tall, and weighs 190 pounds. He was being detained for the U.S. Marshals.
The fourth inmate is 29-year-old Chavis Demaryo Stokes. He is a black male, with black hair, five feet seven inches tall, and weighs 160 pounds. He was being detained for possession of a firearm, and drug trafficking.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office along with the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, FBI and U.S. Marshals Office are currently looking for the inmates.
