CONCORD - Fall is just around the corner and we are one month away from the 43rd Annual Concord Country Jubilee!
Vendor booth spots are filling up fast but there is still space and plenty of time to send in your application. If you haven't received an application or are an entrepreneur looking for a fall festival to sell your crafts you can send a private message including your email and we will forward the application packet.
The entertainment list is growing! Come out Saturday to hear Walker Chandler on the bagpipes, the Fellowship Baptist Missionary Mass Choir and Bonnie Ridge Bluegrass Band. Sunday afternoon newcomer Alivia Roberts will perform as well as and The Maloy Brothers Band and the returning Kirkland and Friends Band. Entertainment will be held at the city pavilion located near the children's playground.
And mark your calendar for the parade on Saturday, October 15th at 2 p.m. If you would like to download an application to be a part of the parade, click here. The deadline is Friday, October 14th. Line up will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Concord Road and Strickland Road near Magnolia Farms.
5K Jubilee Jaunt
The 5K Jubilee Jaunt will begin at 7:30 am on Saturday, October 15, 2016. We will meet behind the Strickland building at the stage. Race packets will be handed out beginning at 6:30 am. Parking is located across the street. Proceeds will support mission work! Sign up online at www.active.com.
Vintage Car Show
There will be a Vintage Car Show on Saturday, October 17 from 12 to 4 p.m.! And they will be joining us in the parade at 2 p.m.! The Car Show will be held on the "airport" next to the antique tractor exhibit at 50 Main Street in Concord. Call 770-884-5221 with your questions.
