ZEBULON - The Last Trimester is a support group that is led by Melinda Harrison, RN to help women be encouraged, know that they are not alone, allow women to hear and interact with those who have had similar experiences, and even get help from outside sources if needed.

The Last Trimester will provide support for those who have had trouble conceiving, those who have had a miscarriage, and those who are dealing with post-partum depression. There will also be support for those who are pregnant or new moms and need support in general as they walking the road to motherhood.

Melinda said that she wants to start the group again here in Pike County because it’s an important topic. “My main goal is to foster a strong connection between moms in the community. I enjoy educating & helping them with topics like self-care, emotional support & identity shifts,” she said.

“We had our first meeting and talked about delivery stories,” Melinda said.

The next meeting will be on Saturday, January 24th from 10-11:30am at 1828 Coffee Co. in Zebulon.

Melinda can do virtual sessions now as well.
