ZEBULON - The J. Joel Edwards Library held the Summer Reading Finale on Saturday, August 2, 2014. Children of all ages came out to celebrate summer reading and have a lot of fun!
Tatoos, a slide, putt putt, prizes, books, snow cones, and so much more were at booths with volunteers on that Saturday. And there were lots of certificates, coupons, and door prizes that were given away by a drawing with the help of Sheriff Jimmy Thomas and County Commission Chairman Briar Johnson.
The library had a ton of great programs throughout the summer, and children and teens had a great time reading all summer long! Look for the Summer Reading Program again next year!
