ZEBULON - There is a new voting machine in the Elections and Registrations Office at 81 Jackson Street in Zebulon. Please go by and vote on fun stuff about Georgia so you can see how it works.
I voted, it printed out my choices on paper, and the paper was fed into the tabulator to complete my votes. If piece of paper is not fed into the machine, your vote will not count.
The new machine is not connected to the internet at all. Yes, I checked!
We will NOT be using new machines for the November vote, but you can see what we will be using in the future if you want. And take a look at the picture from 2008 with the record breaking number of Pike County paper ballots. We were at the courthouse until after midnight that night if I remember correctly.
