Route Announced for Spring Ball Opening Day Parade - March 8

ZEBULON - The Pike County Parks and Recreation Authority will be sponsoring a parade in celebration of the opening of Softball/Baseball Season on Saturday, March 8, 2025. The parade will begin at Christ Chapel, 68 Old Zebulon Rd, and proceed along Hwy 19 North, turn at Williamson-Zebulon Rd, and proceed on County Farm Rd to Twin Oaks Rd, ending at the Pike County Recreation Authority Complex at 603 Twin Oaks Rd, Williamson, GA 30292.

The parade will begin at 8:30 am and end approximately at 9:30 am.

Please keep in mind that there will be a temporary closure of Hwy 19 between 68 Old Zebulon Rd and Zebulon/Williamson Rd during this time.

As an alternate route, vehicles travelling north on Hwy 19 may want to consider turning right onto Hwy 109 East, which will intersect with Hwy 18. Turn right onto Hwy 18 and follow it until it intersects Hwy 341 in Barnesville. Turn left onto Hwy 341 and proceed north toward Griffin.

Likewise, vehicles travelling south on Hwy 19 could take Hwy 341 toward Barnesville and then Hwy 36 toward Thomaston.
