ZEBULON - The Pike County Parks & Recreation Authority presents the 2018 Pride of Pike Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, June 30, 2018 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Pike County Soccer Complex located on Twin Oaks Road in Williamson, Georgia. Everyone is invited to attend!
Entertainment will be provided by American Idol Contestant Isaac Streetman. Local talent Riley Atha will be performing including singing the National Anthem at the beginning of the fireworks show.
There is a parking fee of $5.00 per vehicle.
There will be kids’ activities, food, vendors & a spectacular fireworks show that will last 20 to 25 minutes!
"It’s a great day to celebrate America, spend time with family & friends and come together as a community," said Kevin Teate, Director of Pike County Parks & Recreation Authority. "We would love the community to spend the day with us starting at 4:00pm to experience all the fun activities, enjoy the entertainment & food and to support our vendors."
He added, "We would like to remind everyone that the park is 100% tobacco free and that alcohol & pets are not allowed. Twin Oaks Road will be closed from County Farm Road to just beyond the soccer complex entrance from 2:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.
