The Annual Pike County 4-H Rabies Clinic was held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 9 am till Noon at the Pike County Cooperative Extension Office. Dr. Jennifer E. Gardner, DVM of Gardner Veterinary Services was on hand to administer the rabies shots for $10.00 apiece.
The Doctor gave 178 shots to dogs and cats. JR and SR 4-H’ers were on hand to offer assistance to anyone needing it. 4-H’ers helping were Brianna Botsford, Elizabeth Hanson, Savannah Lupes, Sommer Smith and Adult Volunteer Stacey Clanton.
