Southside Riders Present Teddy Bears in Pike County

ZEBULON - This is the third year that members of the Southside Riders Association have presented teddy bears to those who serve our county in emergency situations. South Georgia/Grady Ambulance and the Pike County Fire Department and Pike County Sheriff's Office have been given many bags with teddy bears and other small toys that can be used to help children in stressful situations.

The Teddy Bear Run was held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 and sponsored by The Southside Riders Association, Complete Truck Bodies, Inc. and Truett's Grill of Griffin.

Keep an eye out for upcoming community events like the Jr. Tab Run and the 20th Annual Tab Run which support local Ronald McDonald charities by collecting tabs from canned drinks. Find out how you can help out and even ride in the upcoming Tab Runs by clicking on the link below. You can turn in tabs even if you don't ride a motorcycle!

From the SRA website: "The Southside Rider’s Association is a non-profit, charity centered group of motorcycle enthusiasts, who have organized for the purpose of improving the image of the motorcyclist in our community. Through fellowship, brotherhood, and community involvement, we shall unite with a common goal to improve ourselves and the children of the State of Georgia. Our tools will be community involvement and our support of Local Children’s Charities." Find out more at www.southsideridersassociation.org.
