ZEBULON - Local children’s book author LaNell Forrest will read her book A Waggers Tale to children at J. Joel Edwards Public Library. The reading will be held Thursday, June 13 at 11 am during the Story Time hour as a part of Summer Reading Program.
LaNell is a native of South Carolina who currently lives in Georgia. LaNell has always had a soft heart for special breed dogs, but in recent years she has turned her love toward canines in rescue.
One of her rescues inspired her to write her first children’s story, A Waggers Tale, who is told from a dog’s perspective. During LaNell’s visit to the library the children will meet Lexi, the dog who keeps the story alive.
A Waggers Tale can be purchased on Amazon as well as at the library during the author’s visit.
For more information, please stop by or call J. Joel Edwards Public Library at 770-567-2014, or follow our Facebook page.
