ZEBULON - Pike County Sheriff’s investigators arrested Timothy Ferrell, 28 years of age, from Upson County for burglary and theft by taking. A citizen reported a four-wheeler and several other items taken out of a storage building this morning.

Ferrel was identified as a suspect during the investigation and was subsequently arrested.

Investigation into Ferrel’s other illegal activities have revealed that he is also responsible for a theft that occurred at a residence on another date. In that theft, motor vehicle parts were taken by Ferrell.

The stolen four wheeler had been impounded in Upson County after it had been left on a property by Ferrell. When he came to the wrecker lot to retrieve the four wheeler investigators were waiting on him and he was arrested.

The inquiry into Ferrel will continue to determine if he is involved in any other crimes in Pike County.

Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
