Zebulon Resident Teri Thompson Publishes First Book
By Editor Becky Watts

ZEBULON - Zebulon resident Teri Thompson is the author of her first book, “Lindy Ladybug’s Party.” It features her daughter’s name as the main character in the book. Lindy Ladybug has a party with all of her insect friends.

Thompson said that she wrote the book in 1996 but just recently published it. “It just popped in my head, and I just wrote it!” she said.

Teri said the writes mostly in rhyme and has written a lot that was just sitting there. Her husband, Lars, encouraged her to send in her work for publication. “Lindy Ladybug’s Party” was published in February of 2023.

Teri moved to Zebulon to be close to her granddaughters. This will be a fun part of a new book that she is working on that will feature her granddaughters, Locklyn and Kimber featured above, as characters in the book. Teri said that Lindy will be doing the artwork for this book.

Teri’s first public appearance is coming up. She will be reading “Lindy Ladybug’s Party” to kids in Coweta County.

Teri’s next book will be coming out in the fall. It is “Lindy Ladybug’s Halloween Party.”
