WILLIAMSON – The City of Williamson is proud to announce the return of its beloved Wisteria Festival, a two-day celebration of Southern charm, local artisans, and family fun, held on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, 2026.
The Wisteria Festival is a cherished tradition that brings together residents and visitors from across the region. Hosted in the heart of downtown Williamson, the event will feature:
• Dozens of local vendors and artisans
• Live music and entertainment
• A wide variety of food trucks and treats
• Children’s activities and family-friendly attractions
• Opportunities to enjoy the blooming wisteria that inspired the festival’s name
“This festival reflects the spirit of our community — welcoming, creative, and connected,” said Carol Berry, a member of the Wisteria Festival Committee. “We invite families, neighbors, and visitors to join us for a beautiful spring weekend in Williamson.”
The event is free and open to the public.
Event Details:
• Dates: Saturday, April 18 & Sunday, April 19, 2026
• Location: Downtown Williamson, GA at Benson Hilley Park (the walking track)
• Time: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM on Saturday (and we’ve got a Talent Show at 7 PM!)
• Sunday, April 19th – from 12 PM to 5 PM
• Admission: Free
Want to showcase your talents? This Saturday at 7:00 pm is the Williamson Wisteria Festival Talent Show. Sign up now by contacting Williamson City Hall. Sign up is $10 and there is a $100 prize for the winner. Call 770.227.8380 to reserve your spot.
If you know anyone with a talent, whether it’s singing, dancing, playing an instrument, dog tricks, juggling, jokes, storytelling, acrobatics, magic, ventriloquism, martial arts demonstrations, card tricks, (we’ve had all those), or anything else you could think of, have them call Williamson City Hall to sign up!
