BREAKING NEWS: Read a Copy of Pike County Candidate Campaign Disclosures

ZEBULON - Pike County Times keeps a close eye on the many facets of each election that and its potential effects on Pike County and its citizens. This election cycle is no different.

There is an election page where each candidate was asked to submit their contact information and why they are running for office in less than 500 words and a copy of the audio of the District 131 political forum that was played on the radio last week.

There is also a list of upcoming voting dates and links to campaign disclosures for local and District 131 candidates. Pike County Times encourages readers to get educated on your candidates and to make your voice heard at the ballot box.

This page has a copy of voting dates as well. Early voting in person began on Monday and will run through the Friday prior to Election Day on June 9.

There is a mandatory Saturday voting day on May 30.

District 131 Political Forum Can Be Heard Online

On May 14, 2020, the Upson County Republican Party and WTGA Fun 101 Thomaston presented a Republican Candidate Forum with Upson County Commission candidates and District 131 candidates.

*CONTESTED* Superior Court Clerk will be on the ballot. This seat is currently held by Pam Thompson who was appointed to fill the rest of Carolyn Williams' term when she retired in 2019. Pam Thompson, Incumbent, has qualified for this seat. She will be challenged by Rebekah Hanson.
